Discover the Magic of our Farm and farming life
The Farm Experience
Get up close with our friendly alpacas, pigs, goats, Shetland ponies, Lama, ducks and chickens! From feeding and grooming to guided mini-walks, our new Alpaca Experience is a magical hands-on adventure for kids and grown-ups alike.
Our Farm experiences last for 2 hours and will see participants meeting a number of our friendly Alpacas, assisting with their feeding and grooming routines and walking at least 2 Alpacas around our tranquil site in the Mayfield Valley in Sheffield. Participants will enter the pens of our pigs, goats, Shetland ponies, ducks and chickens to assist our skilled farm and animal handlers with feeding the animals, cleaning and grooming where appropriate. Participants will learn about our animals, their environments, feeding regimes, management protocols and how we ensure our animals are well cared for.
Participants will be able to touch, feed and walk our Alpacas and Shetland Ponies in a safe and supervised environment. This experience will ensure participants learn some fun facts about Alpacas, animal care and farm life. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and junior Alpaca handlers will receive a Junior Alpaca Keeper certificate.
Farm Experiences cost £25 per person with a minimum booking requirement of 2 people with a maximum booking of 5 people per group. All participants must be over the age of 7 and children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

This is an amazing place! The guide, Kat, is so nice and knowledgeable. There are many outdoor and indoor animals as well! Even Andy from the coffee shop is a very good man. He dropped us in his car to the nearest bus stop when our cabs were getting cancelled....

Such a lovely place to go, for people of all ages. Fab views of Sheff while surrounded by nature and beautiful animals! The small animal area was a little claustrophobic in places, but we went late afternoon and it wasn't busy so it was alright. Don't make our mistake and use up...

We went in half term to the halloween event and really enjoyed the day out. There was the added bonus of seeing and holding some reptiles and insects and seeing Brutus the armadillo up close. He is very cute....
