Fun and learning for children of all ages
At Mayfield Alpacas we specialise in providing unique and tailored children’s parties with an educational twist.
Children will be able to get up close and personal with our animals, having the ability to learn about their personalities and understand how they are cared for.
Our children's party experiences
Our unique birthday party package offers all party goer’s a unique farming experience. The children will get up close and personal with our Alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs and our smaller animals too.
Our party package will ensure that all children have a fun filled farming experience where they will learn about our wonderful animals.
All animal encounters will be supervised and facilitated by one of our Farm Leaders (2 for larger groups) to ensure that all parties are fun, personable and educational experiences. We will also ensure unique animals encounters are facilitated in a controlled and supervised manner.
Party packages can be booked from Tuesday through to Sunday at the times of 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 & 18:00.
Our birthday party package includes:
- Party duration 2 hours
- Price per child - £25.00 with a minimum of 10 children per booking (less may attend but a minimum charge of £250 will still be applied)
- Upto a maximum booking of 20 children
- Delicious and healthy party food served on platters, including ham and cheese sandwiches, Fruit Yoyo, cheese sticks, cucumber and carrot sticks, mini muffins & cheese and tomato pizza squares to share
- Party invitations
- Party bags and animal masks
- Animal feed of our Alpacas, goats, sheep and pigs
- A private small animal encounters session
- Free farm admission for one adult for every child’s place booked
- Alpaca birthday cake can be provided at an extra cost of £25.00

Recently visited just after their re-opening. Lovely cafe, lovely maintained fields and lovely staff. Coffee pretty decent for the price too! Highly recommend for the family (2 little girls 4 and 7). Loved feeding the friendly alpacas and seeing the pigs / chickens....

I had a great time, my boys absolutely loved it. The alpacas were very friendly. They also enjoyed the goats. They loved feeding all of the animals. Highly recommended for family fun!...

This is an amazing place! The guide, Kat, is so nice and knowledgeable. There are many outdoor and indoor animals as well! Even Andy from the coffee shop is a very good man. He dropped us in his car to the nearest bus stop when our cabs were getting cancelled....
